Other than the gearbox being replaced (detailed below in the 'GOOD NEWS section) it has had no major mechanical failures or repairs needed. I don't have a full service history due to losing the logbook however it was last serviced in May 2008. In excellent running condition. CONDITION Other than the a fairly standard amount of small scratches that you would expect to find on a car of this age there are a couple of specific things I feel it fair to bring to your attention. 1. There is an area of damage above the passenger side wheel arch. The damage is an area of indentation and some scratches to the paint work (clipped a small tree!) I have provided a photograph of it. 2. The car has been used to ferry two kids in car seats around in so as a consequence there is some light marking to the upholstery in the rear caused by indentations where the car seats have been seated. This is quite minor and I have provided a photo of the rear seats to try and show this. THE GOOD NEWS! As stated the car comes with two brand new tyres so that will save you a few bob when you need to replace them. When the car had 62,000 miles on the clock (2,000 beyond Toyota's warranty!) the gear box packed in. As a result it has a gearbox in it that has only done 18,000 miles so more box for your buck!! I have had a couple of questions about the timing belt however this model has a timing chain rather than a timing belt and therefore it never needs to be replaced. DELIVERY / COLLECTION! Happy to deliver the car within a radius of 50 miles from my house as long as you can drop me off at a train station afterward! (Note I would only be able to deliver on a Sunday) Otherwise the car will be available to be collected from my home or nearby Helensburgh which is on a direct train route from Glasgow.
